The Browning Citori 725 Sporting Maple Over/Under Shotgun is an ultrareliable sporting shotgun, specifically designed for competition shooting and clay-busting performance. Browning focused much of the 725’s innovative design on a low profile receiver. Positioning the barrels lower in the receiver changes the relationship of your cheek and eye to the rib, putting face, eyes, and hands closer to the centerline of the gun. The 725’s low profile receiver also improves recoil control by pushing the gun straight back into the shoulder. The 725 uses a rugged full-width hinge pin, and the transverse mounted locking bolt design, while the Fire Lite mechanical trigger design delivers a light, consistent pull. By not relying on inertia to reset the second hammer, a mechanical trigger ensures you get an immediate second shot, without worrying about your gun unexpectedly doubling. To prevent sporting clays shooters from getting worn down from recoil, so they can still be on top of their game at the end of the day, the Citori 725 Sporting uses ported barrels and Browning’s Inflex Technology recoil pad. The Inflex recoil pad utilizes directional deflection to pull the comb down and away from the shooter’s face, creating greater comfort and allowing for faster follow-up shots. The Browning Citori 725 Sporting comes with 5 Invector-DS choke tubes that feature a brass alloy band at the base of the tube to seal out gas and grit from getting between the barrel and tube, making the tubes easy to remove even after extensive shooting. Invector-DS choke tubes and Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones minimize shot deformation and maximize pattern uniformity.
