The Browning ® Citori ® Gran Lightning Over/Under Shotgun blends elegance and performance in a highly functional shotgun that’s equally at home hunting upland birds or shooting clays. The Gran Lightning features an oil-finished Grade V/VI walnut stock, with the Lightning-style pistol grip, and finely cut checkering. Browning’s Inflex Technology recoil pad blends with the overall aesthetics of the buttstock, while dampening and redirecting recoil for faster follow-up shots. The high-polished, blued steel receiver has graceful, high relief engraving. Barrel has a high-polished, blued finish, and ivory front and midbead. All metal components are machined to exact tolerances, and wood-to-metal fit is extremely tight. The Citori Gran Lightning comes with Midas-grade, Invector-Plus extended, black-band choke tubes that reduce shot deformation and promote uniform shot patterns. For ultimate strength, the Citori utilizes transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolts that engage a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The taper allows the bolt to seat deeper over the years so the action never gets sloppy. A Citori action wears in, not out.
